NY: New Notice of Petition and Petition in Summary Landlord & Tenant Proceedings

Effective September 3, 2024, new forms must be used for a Notice of Petition and Petition is summary landlord and tenant proceedings.

The forms are available on the New York Court's website at https://ww2.nycourts.gov/forms/landlordtenant/index.shtml

The changes were made in AO/205/24, an Administrative Order of the Chief Administrative Judge, dated July 2, 2024

Non-payment forms for landlords:

• Notice of Petition for Non-Payment Eviction (USC-LTN 05/2024) for courts OUTSIDE NYC ONLY - Fillable PDF, Plain PDF, En Español.
• Petition for Non-Payment Eviction (UCS-LTN2 05/2024) - Fillable PDF, Plain PDF.
